Default The car will 'splode!

No, it's a CYA safety thing. If you look at instructions for virtually any work under the hood, it starts off w/ unplug the battery. I've had mine off & on sveral times from the FAST intake forward w/o doing so. It's just always a good idea from a safety point whenever working on a car but there definately procedures where it not just a good idea it's manditory for your or the vehicles safety. It recalibrates after several drive cycles, but sooner or later it should be retuned. But I will say as these vehicles get more complicated, don't get to lazy to disconnet a battery b/c you don't feel like resetting your clock.

thanks. I was more concerned about the fly by wire system having a problem reseting.
I did notice the the car went through a 1/4 tank of fuel in about 15 minutes.

thanks again
