The AC condenser will separate from the radiator. The AC lines have enough slack in then to allow the condenser to stay in the engine bay. Just zip tie the condenser as far forward as you can without getting too tight, the cam will fit this way.
I had to change my UD pulley due to the factory wobble. I spent a good hour trying with two of us to get this out but there was no way i could. Maybe you had better luck than me! i am doing the Cam swap when the parts arrive so i will try again and see if it will work.
If you want to make a sub box and/or amp rack that sits on the ledge behind the seats. Something like this or this, you'll need the dimensions of the hatch area.

I too have been searching for a good DIY C6 cam swap write up. It still eludes me. Anyone have one or a link that works???
