So Bilstein sports, HD's or z06? Does it go in that order for softest to hardest with relationship to ride? Doing z51 sway bar and want a tigger ride but, not race ride. This is my weekend toy...and while I have some fun on the road with it...will probably not track it.

Thanks!
I wouldn't recommend any stock GM shock. You might want to look at the DRM custom-valved Bilsteins.
I recommend the Bilstein Sport shocks. Summit Racing had them for just over $200/set. They improve both ride and handling. If you want to break the bank, then try Koni's.

Thanks Rick. I had been checking that one too. I did a search and read there but, wanted to get some more info. I think with my base non z51 car I will go z51 sway bars..then either Bilstein Sports or HD's. I am curious the REAL difference between these two shocks. They both seem inexpensive..and get good reviews. I see a few people mention one is better for Z51 and the other for non Z51. It appears though that others just bought what they want and are happy. Trying to do this only once..for now. Just want to improve what I think is an already decent ride. Little tighter without sacrificing ride. You know..I hit the on or off ramp and romp on it or a new twisty in the back woods...
