Yes, I've tuned my own car. Mine bubbles and pops a little but its not obnoxious.
Are you tuning yours? Have you looked at the DFCO? Do you have a scan to send me?
What about the ignition advance table? The stock tune goes negative which means the exhaust valve is open before spark and whatever fuel is in the combustion chamber goes out the exhaust before spark. This helps keeps the cat's and NBO2 sensors hot.

Like I said, having HPtuners you should be able to see how the DFCO works, I suspect maybe you don't realize what DFCO is? You said:
