Default New 07 LS2 A6 E Force Plus Plus install !!

Hello all

NE Texan here and it gets hot. I posted some of this in the general area so sorry about that.

Motorhead has given me some great advice he is sure and asset here <S> Salute Sir

My car is my 26th Corvette. It is a 07 LS2 A6 Z51 w/3.15 gears. I have gone to 325's 275's and Stock Chrome Z06 wheels with no problems. This car has never seen rain and stays at 68 degrees in its garage. I am adding the 599hp E Force, 3.50 pulley, Underdrive balancer pinned of course, Longtube coated headers, large X pipe, Corsa Extremes, high flow cats, Lunati cam kit w/springs, keepers pushrods and the works, Halltech Beehive, and alum. radiator. All at the same time. we are about finished and choose not to use the stock tuner kit.

The car has 16,001 miles on it and my dealer has no issues with the warranty through GM plus their GM extended warranty. He is a much larger Corvette nut than I.

Wish me luck I should have it running tonight or by the am here.

My dealer here in Plano was very nice as well, after I had my A&A s/c put on my car they cleared some codes for me and never gave me any ****.

Just something for you to think about:
When my engine BLEW, do you think they offered to let me have it towed to them and they would replace it free of charge under warranty? You're kidding yourself. The dealer doesn't just decide that they will replace your engine, they MUST get approval from GM to do so. Is there some guy at GM that just sits there waiting for engine claims to come in, and immediately stamps them APPROVED? No.. would you want to be out of pocket thousands of dollars, without asking any questions or wanting to find out what happen? No. Neither does GM. They will want to know if your tune was modified (which it will be), they'll want to know what went wrong, and in the end they will definitely know it was modified and you will be SOL buying yourself a new engine.

Your warranty is still in affect until you need to use it

Sure, they will continue to warranty the car, but they will not warranty the powertrain.

Default Underdrive Pulley

I don't think an underdrive pulley is what you want with a blower. You will lose boost by driving the blower slower. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks for the input. I understand the warranty issues. The damper is full size and pinned my bad. I am using a 3.50" drive pulley. The risk I will take as we all do. My dad was a dealer all his days.

I really enjoy you guys forum Thank you for the help. I learn somethng everyday.

I understand the GM warranty, Service reps, core approvals, dealers mech. flat rates and spend years in GM training Center on Summer Ave Memphis, Tn. Plus went through dealers son school and the whole deal.
You don't put you friendly dealer on the spot. I know what to expept and will accept what I get. I simply was saying we have a very Corvette friendly local dealer that works well with people that don't try and BS him. My mods cause a problem I stand the bill. Any other way IMO would be dishonest. I play I pay. Around here you abuse someone
only onced. We don't go there.

Sure glad to find you guys Forum. Love it great info.

No worries, you said they have no issues with your warranty so I thought I'd let you know in case you thought they'd cover it if something went boom. I agree 100% that if someone wrongs you once, they'll do it again. Kind of like lending someone money. If you lend it, consider it gone. If they don't pay it back, never lend them again.
