One of my tire pressure sensors shows a constant reading of 30 psi. The other three fluctuate normaly with temperature. The 30 psi agrees
with my tire gage. Any thoughts? Thanks

If there was a problem with the sensor or system you would get an "XXX" or Service Tire Monitor message.

If you want to verify that it's working just let a few pounds out (or add a few) and go for a short drive to see if it shows the new reading.

Probably the sensor battery is getting weak. They start to do funny things as they get weak. You might get lucky by trying to re-synch it with the TIPS tool but you will probably end up replacing it. I just went through this.

I have done as you suggested, prior to posting, there was no change to the DIC reading.

Hey Bill

I looked in your profile and saw you're in FL - but where???

If you're anywhere from Jacksonville to Melbourne to Orlando we should get together and I'll try zapping your sensors to reprogram them and see if that does any good.

My TPMS tool is a high-end one with a screen and will display the sensor's battery status.

PM me if you're any place in Central FL.

Bob

Bob I'm at The Villages. I appreciate your offer but, I'll be at my dealership to change my coolant next week. I'll have them check it out. If you are over this way we have a rather large car show from 4 to 8 PM every third Saturday of the month. Cars have to be older than 1980. Again thanks for your offer.
