Default Edelbrock water pump

I was just reading about our water pumps failing in the 20K to 30K range, and saw this ad. Has anyone used this product, and put some miles on it? I'm just at 20K miles myself and would like to head off any trouble on the road.

Edelbrock makes great products with outstanding quality. I've used their heads, intake manifolds and water pumps on other cars and boat and never had a problem. I'm sure, although pricey the C6 water pump is also good quality.

I think there's other mods you could better spend your money on. If/when your pump fails and you're running hot, you can just swap it out at that time if you still wanted it.

If your at 20k miles, you should be good for a while. I have over 110,000 miles on my 07 with no water pump problems. With preventive maintenance and some LUCK my water pump will keep flowing strong, I hope.
