Default Which rotors?

I'm about to buy rotors so, wanted to know what you have, how you like them and their performance. I'll be doing mainly street driving. I want to do a slotted and/or cross drilled set up. I have a narrow body c6 with base suspension.

I've seen two or three threads on the site with rotors for sale so, hoping I can get in on one of these deals. Trying to stay under $400.00

Thanks!

I like Baer, but currently have Wilwood to go with my Wilwood six piston brakes.

Below are pictures of the Baers

Is your car a z-51 or base? The cross drilled are going to run cooler and slots are going to grip better the hotter they get. I think for street, go for cross drilled

there is a vendor on here called brakemotive, great prices and zink coated. I just bought a set of front cross drilled for my Grand Cherokee and they are very nice and work great. I will be going back to them for some z06 rotors very soon. good luck...

The Baer rotors are Z51, but all you need are Z51 front brackets since the rotors come with rear brackets.

Don't buy the DBA4000 if you go to the track. I've seen a brand new DBA4000 front rotor that cracked after 15 min on the track with less than 70 miles on it. Car suffered extensive damage due to loss of braking in a sharp corner.

I have the slotted/cross drilled ones TPS Mak sells for $239 shipped. They stop quicker and smoother then the OEM's. I don't track mine so I went with these.I also put on the GM ceramic pads that I bought from Parts Taxi on sale for $ 99 for all 4 pads. They might not be the best but so far both have held up fine and didn't cost that much.
