Default Tune-up

My 2008 is now out of warranty. I want to take it to LG Motorsports for a "special" tune-up. Anyone know what that will cost and what kind of changes I will see? Thanks

I thought the powertrain warranty was 5 years / 100,000 miles?

The engine requires no tune up unless you have racked up some serious miles. Check the fliuids condition and replace is needed.

You still have warranty. My 05 went out of warranty last September. Get the tune anyway.

What kind of tune up?

Generally speaking stock cars do not require much of anything at all.....or are you speaking of doing some tweaks and a dyno tune??

BlueTx just got back from LG motorsport on Saturday. Went down had the Super Pro headers done with a nice tune to complete my stage 1 process. Already had the CAI, Borla Aggressive exhaust, 160 deg stat. While I was there I had them change my Diff and Tranny fluid to redline with the friction additive. Also, had them change my plugs and wires with heat shields for the headers. I had 32k, and I felt it needed to be done as per my normal maintenance. I think the cost was about 400 dollars for diff, tranny, plugs and wires. The redline fluids are expensive, but I have ran those fluids in all my P-cars. Always performed perfectly in all conditions. Depending on what you plan on doing for a tune up it will probably be about that or more. Now the tune of the computer is another story. It is about 600, it is unbelievable what they can pull out of the motor. I love the car even more after they put the headers on it and tuned it.
