Rick was referring to Spin's comment. He was well aware of the heads on the car. These guy's do high end, big dollar builds, their reputation (not just internet speak) is highly touted in the Detroit area and surrounding burbs. No way I'd take a $70k plus car to bunch of guys who were guessing at what was under the hood...

Thanks for the tune Rick. FYI, Dave is by far the best CSR I've dealt with bar none! The heads looked incredible and for the $$ can't see how one could do much better. Looking forward to picking her up before the weekend. Fingers crossed the rain holds out!

Yeah, I was referring to Spin's earlier comment.

Seeing your car makes me miss our yellow LS2 convertible. It was definitely an attention getter.

Thank you for the kind words!

Lets hope the rain holds off!!!!

3holer, just got back from the tune and made 461/431 while staying conservative. The car had another 5/5 in it but I didn't want to take the risk after all the blood and sweat getting it back together.

I will try to put my dyno up tonight but the peak values read a few lower that the monitor at the time ofthe run. Maybe we printed a different run. Either way, I'm very impressed w/ the numbers, especially the torque curve. It hit 400 tq at 3350 rpm!

I think the difference between us is my added compression. This allowed me to run leaner (12.7:1) with less advance (23 degrees max). All in all, I got 78 rwhp and 39 ft-lbs.

Those are awesome numbers! CR is/was most likely the difference, although 10hp and 31 ft. lbs. seems like quite a bit for just a bump in CR. Regardless, both cars while having different "brand name" combos still produced very similar results. Now I must secretly add the thinner gaskets and FAST intake... Post that sheet when you can.

I read thru the FAQ on adding a file or image but do not have the "Manage Attachment" botton mentioned. I may not have the proper status or permission to do this. Can I email it to someone and they post for me?

I think everyone can manage and attach under the basic membership. The difference is in the amount of POSTS/ THREADS you can store. I will do it for you no problem. Your numbers are quite similar to mine. I had a PORTED 90 CAM ONLY at the time with the Spinmonster earlier 232 Cam.
I have since added TFS Heads & yela terra roller Rockers to get to 500
RW.

I'm sorry I was referring to TAKEN. Three Holler had nice numbers with a
Formatto Stage 1 OEM Manifold& TB. When we swapped out the Stage 1
to a Formatto PORTED FAST 92 we picked up something like 27 RW over
the stage 1. Either a PORTED FAST 92 or 102 will give him some guaranteed numbers and be impressed. Congrats to Livernoist they got
some pretty wild Cams on their shelves. Most of the guys who used the
Spinmonsters Cam's made it to 450+ RW .

I think we printed a different graph since my final numbers were 462/431, but you get the idea. Very similar shaped graph to 3holer. It looks like my numbers peak a bit sooner as well but could be due to weather (91 degrees yesterday in Miami area), different headers or difference in head porting.

Thanks Mez!

Default Nice Torque curve

A good torque curve for the setup. Notice you are at 400RWTQ from
3500 RPM thru 6000 RPM. Congrats I needed the addition of PORTED
FAST to get to 461RW. You got a chance to reach 480RW if you go with
a PORTED FAST 102. Either Jeremy F or Spinmonster for Porting.

I will definitely keep that in mind. I figure I have a couple months of the "honeymoon phase" before the car doesn't feel fast enough anymore. I've already told Jeremy at HPS that I will be back after the Fast and possibly 102 throttle body... Maybe an electric water pump... Who knows.

After all, I'm gonna have to keep up with 3holer when he secretly adds cometics and a Fast.

Great results Sean! I don't recall, did you go with 1 3/4 or 1 7/8 headers? Your peaking almost 3-400 rpm before my set-up. Curious to know how a FAST would affect that result.

I have LG 1-3/4 street series headers without cats. I know that they advertise that they make serious torque and Hp. Maybe that's where the difference is coming from.

Tough to argue with the results. I was initially going with the LG's, decided to go with the Kook's as I preferred the welded cats rather than the clamp in style that LG offered. After the tune I can say that I am very impressed with the power and drivability of the set-up and tune. It absolutely RIPS! The motor climbs so damn quick through the RPM range and has zero hesitation even when stomping on it at 1200-1500 rpm.

I love the slight shake at idle when sitting at the lights and the sound of the cam, it is just too damn fun to drive now!

I agree with drivability. Perfect street manners and humble at part throttle. Slight shake at idle, just enough to remind you that over 500 Hp is sitting under the hood.

I drove my car relatively stock (CAI and Borla only) for about a year and thought it was quick then. With the recent tune, the car now pulls harder in third than it previously did in second. Won't hold traction anywhere in first OR second right now, and feels like third is questionable at certain RPM. I think I will be able to save my clutch and rear diff (I have an '05) for a while as long as I stay with street tires and away from R compound tires or DR's.

For the money invested, I think we did well in terms of drivability and results. Gotta give Spin a huge thumbs up for his recommendation on this cam.
