I just checked the price and it was $96.99, because I didn't give them the old one, that included a $10 core charge. It shipped out of a company in MI. I still have the box it came in, but it's buried in my storage shed someplace.
Supposedly, they can get the solenoid for around $30, but I'm not ready to buy one now.

Well Glenn, I'm glad I kept the OEM starter rather than take the $10 off for the core charge. The replacement bit the dust after 38K miles. So rather than wait for a few days for another one, even though it had a lifetime warranty, I went to NASA Automotive in Glendale and had a new solenoid put on my old OEM starter. $42 and 15 minutes later, I was out the door.
Now, I'll take the replacement to O'Reilly's to get another under warranty and park it on the shelf.
Then I get to be the West side emergency starter supplier.
