Just to be clear, C6's don't have a PCM (this was the Powertrain Control Module in the C5). The C6 has separate ECM and TCM (Engine and Transmission Control Modules).
Not sure what you're asking.......assuming you're interested in the ECM are you asking how to physically change an ECM or asking if there is programming involved when a new one is installed?
