I tried the above alignment settings. I grant you will get even tire wear.
My problem was the car handled like ....poo poo.
Depends on how you drive. If you like any cornering ability DO NOT GO WITH THE ABOVE SPECS. Also the car felt rather light and skittish just cruising down the freeway in a straight line.
I do not horse around in the car but the above specs just suck in terms of handling.
Just so you know
If you drive like you belong in a model T Ford your be ok!
Funny mine handles just fine and no problems cruising the freeway at 85 or above either .I DO horse around in mine and don't drive it like the Blue Hairs in their FORDS ! The cornering is slightly different but nothing I can't handle. The above specs where given as a reference to the OP as an option over the GM specs which do give better cornering but wear the inside of the tires out prematurely. What works for some doesn't work for others due to their driving habits/skills Just So You Know .
I switched out my run craps to Bridgestone RE-11's.
TONS of grip and really like them.
Same for me, awesome tire on the street and not bad on the track. Quiet with good feedback on the highway. Really hooks up mashing the throttle. Close to R compound grip cornering in the dry and much improved in the wet. Braking zone compression improved at least 30%.
