MGW Shifter
Thinking about changing my 06 Z51 manual shifter over to an MGW and would appreciate any feedback pro or con from anyone who has done so.

Just replaced mine on my Z06 today. The shifts are shorter and much more crisp. Very easy to change.

Likewise, and I hear the newer gimbal version is even better than the one I installed 4 years ago. [ and the original is great IMHO ]

Question I bought a MGM shifter for my new 2011 Z06 by installing it would that effect any warranty.
Thanks

I can't see how it could but if your dealer tried to void a warranty based on replacing a piece o crap shifter with a finely crafted shifter, then they are azzhats and you should go someplace else.

Same problem!
I would also recommend that you change to RedLine oil in the trans at the same time.

Have MGW shifter on my c7 and it’s quite a bit more difficult to use for daily driving. Very heavy kinda hard to get into reverse and 7th
