Anyone remove rear diffuser for lower diff and trans temps???

No but I added a Transmission cooler and my temps dropped 40 degrees.

m6 or a6? and what make and model of cooler???

I have an A4 and I don't know the make and model as I had HPSales of Pomp. install it although they said it was a truck cooler I think.

I have used many types of Trans Coolers.. and my only advice is to get a "STACKED PLATE" type as opposed to a "Finned Aluminum type...

I had a 3600 converter in my C4 and raced it a lot and trans temp never went over 190 (Drag Racing)

I would guess that removing the diffuser would not have much effect, but if any, it would probably raise the temps, not lower them.

It's a B&M..Have the same one installed on my 08,A6 and it also dropped trans temps by 40-50 degrees. HP Sales also did mine.
