Depends on how good or bad the driver was on the stock tires.
If you can't 60 on stock tires and run 2.2 60's then it'll make a HUGE difference and probably take off damn near a second if you cut 1.6 60's after the tires.
If you're cutting 1.70 60's on stock tires it won't make as much of a difference and you'll pick up a few tenths.
