I haven't released them yet. The first sets were excellent as far as overall bore diameter but I wanted to be able to get the chamber size down to 58 cc.

The next casting run was on 40 pair and though the camber size was addressed properly, the bore size was too large....I will be turning these into LS7 heads.

Next run will be correct with small bore/small chambers...

Trickflow was supposed release these a year go and still nothing....

Not being in the casting and machining business, why do people have problems with LS7 heads for LS2 and Ls3 engines?

My issue is making the "bore size" correct & tight for the smaller bores without unduly shrouding the valves. The present castings we have are good on the 4.070" bore but just not right for prime time on the 4.0" (LS2). Hopefully, that will be resolved in the next month or so.

Once a bore is optimized for a small bore (4"), is it then less optimum for a larger than 4" bore? Does a bore being just right make it specific to an application being the opposite of shrouded.

The stock LS3 castings measure 4.067" which is pretty perfect for the 4.065" LS3.

I am not the sharpest tool in the shed, so I apologize for sounding stupid. If the LS3 castings are bigger than an LS2 bore, how do they work without the valves hitting the edge of the cylinder wall?
