I have been working on this project with LG with some other stuff over the past few of months while other forum members started doing 15" rears. I always wanted a full 15" Weld RTS drag setup to be different and to get some more sidewall for the drag strip. LG delivered very nicely. Rears tuck in a little so I can run a little wider tire later on without having to worry about rubbing the outer fender. Here are some quick pics. Enjoy.
What changes or modifications are necessary to accomodate the 15 inch wheels? My present set up is a 08 Z51 wide body rear. Presently running 17x11 inch C4 ZR1 rims with Hoosier 315/35 17's. Thanks .....Mike

If you want to do the 15" on the rear, you need the base C5/C6 rear calipers, rotors, and pads. That along with our Billet drag spindles. Then you will need a pair of 15x10 rear wheels and your choice of tire.
Depending on the wheel, most are going to require some minor clearance of the caliper to fit the inside of the rear wheel.
Andrew did a 15" front as well, which for him required the use of a small front brake as well. Given the 4" wide front tire, a big front brake would be pointless.
I agree if it's an automatic, but this is a manual so he might need that little bit more.
I don't buy that that setup is necessary for a high 9 second/low 10 second C6, regardless of any type of setup. A bias ply tire, sure...much easier on the rear.
Again, it looks good....so there's that going for it

You may be right, it might not be entirely necessary.
It is pretty radical and costly as well but I suppose he just wants to be sure that he hooks every single time (of course there is no way to be truly sure).

I have no doubt that this setup will hook like an angry son of a gun
