And how do you make transitions like that when you talk/type.. Your thought process= I have a toy rocketship and my car flys, but i guess your just $1 away from having a lollipop..

btw when did i mention amount of hp after a fast? you are just arguing for the fun of it.. I explained the truth of the situation and you still ramble on..
You seem to believe on that special day your car actually made 430 RWHP. You said so yourself. And it's a known fact that a ported FAST is worth 20 RWHP or so. That would put you at 450 RWHP...correct?

That's Z06 territory. So you should have no problem running within a tenth or so of what Z06's do. Let us know when that happens.

Did my thought process make sense this time?

PS- I've been modding the snot out of cars since the 5.0 was introduced back in the early 80's. Mustangs,Vipers,FGT, just to name a few. So I know when something doesn't add up.

Are you trying to explain to me what I believe?? Jeez it's like i have to type the same thing over and over and over and over to you people lol... with all those years under your belt i figure you would be a little more wise.. And wrong it does add up.. read previous posts and you will see the light..

PS- Things are not always as they seem. Have you ever heard the phrase, "Jack of all trades, master of none?" btw
i do aim to run mid to low 11 's.. Also was that bone stock pass actually bone stock or did you have tires, or any other modification?

My 2 cents, I agree its a friendly dyno. But you did mention uncorrected numbers w/ ideal conditions. Maybe the corrected numbers would be lower? idk.

Anyways, my 06 when it was stock w/ Longtubes, Dynatune Cats, and Corsa Sport made 363whp. I ran a bunch of 12.3's at 116mph. 1.9 usual shorttimes.

I'd be curious to see what your mph will be on a full pass. You could also compare 1/8mile mph to get an idea.

I already answered the 1/8th mph question and explained the situation.. and i am waiting on the dyno as well... also i'm really not sure why the term "way before" is that funny to you.. i can be literal and say several hundred feet...

ignorance troll is ignorant..
No you didn't answer the 1/8mph question. You mention letting out at 110mph because your clutch pedal stuck, which is way after the 1/8mile. What was your 1/8th mile mph? If turning that kind of rpm is no problem at all for 5.0s, then why are they burning up pistons....

You'd be trapping well over 120mph in cool air, low altitude and with 430rwhp.

With the same mods AND a Ported FAST people aren't hitting close to those numbers...not even LS3's

You found a VERY friendly dyno.

Not trying to hijack this post

But now that we have a bunch of people with knowledge together, can you please have a look at my dyno run, also with a 2005 LS2 engine and some mods. I do make more than 400 RWHP.

I would love to hear your opinions about how my car is doing.

Fred

We'll just have to agree to disagree....it's all good. The main thing is you're happy with your car. If you ever get down to Z-Max Dragway, let me know. It's only 1/2 mile from my office.

And to answer your question, yes, the car had ~800 miles on it when I made the pass. And was stock tired with zero mods. That was my best pass, most were in the 11.4-11.5 range. All passes were throttle lift & only launched around 3k RPM.

YES, I DID!!! i said it trapped between 90-92 but i wouldn't call that accurate due to the lack of ability to shift.. I also posted the reason for the 5.0s burning up, and they are not burning up "pistons" jus the #8 piston.. it is due to running lean because the #8 cylinder runs leaner than all the rest. RPM has NOTHING to do with them burning up.. if it did then explain to me why only one of the 8 cylinders has a hole in it? explain your logic.. Go do some reading before you make ignorant assumptions based on pretty much nothing

Sure, but i'm not the person that tuned my car.. but you are more than welcome to come to south ms and see how my lil bolton ls2 runs..

You sir are a good driver representing what a 500+hp car should do, im supprised that some people don't argue with you about it since GM rates it at an 11.8.. because we all know if you are ahead of the group, you are wrong or lying or a majician like me ..

Yeah, and I'm the one (one of ONLY TWO by the way) with the 10 second time slip in his bolt ons only LS2 C6 so it's a pretty safe bet that I (and my tuner) know what I'm doing/talking about as well.
Go make a few hundred+ passes at 7000rpm on your stock valve springs and then report back on how well your car does on the dyno (or the track).
I don't race dyno sheets.

I don't think i'll be making a few hundred passes on them (or even that they would hold up that long) but they will hold up fine until i get some new ones. I'm not trying to argue that there is no need to upgrade, just that they are more than capable of holding up until i get some better suited for the job.. I don't take it to 7k everytime im in the car fyi, but so far they are doing good and are not going to hold me back until i get a new set.. What springs did you go with? I'm currently trying to decide.

No, it was not james.. I don't want to say who since i am actually a bit dissatisfyed with him currently and do not want to badmouth anyone. It is right on the limit i will say that.. the a/f is fine but it is running A LOT of timing, i'm debating on getting him to pull a few degrees but idk yet i am addicted to the power..
