Why so secretive about the timing? Also, which type/size headers do you have? Where do you have the cutouts mounted? What brand flywheel and do you know how much lighter than stock it is? Perhaps this info could help give us some insight why your car makes the power it does. Like many things, it's the details that can make the difference. So help us out here.
I don't get why he's being secretive about timing. he's running between 21-31 degrees.

I didn't mean to sound like a smartass.. It's hard to convey things properly through text.. Either way %25 under drive, 1 3/4 stepped headers with a 3" collector, 3" xpipe, 3.5" cutouts mounted after the x, varram, and a very agressive tune. Stock gears

I think the stock tune is somewhere between 22-24 degrees.. Why would you detune your car? Do you have some sort of forced induction?

AR headers, Xpipe, VRX5 cam, FAST intake, B&B bullets. I'm pretty sure that is what the timing is at but its been a while. I can't remember.

Its called using common sense plus being secretive about timing is the lamest thing I've heard.

My car made the most power at 18 degrees at 397rwhp. More timing doesn't mean more power. A car likes what a car likes. We had it on the dyno for 1.5 hours doing everything to squeeze out all the power we could.

Went and ran 11.2 @ almost 123 mph with boltons on a ****** 1.70 60' in my LS2.

I'll expect yours to run at least equal with 30 more rwhp.

Somehow I anticipate your car running an ET/MPH and us never hearing about it though

My car was not a "Max" effort. I wanted 93 octane and be able to drive it on trips with the wife. Besides, 451hp/428tq is about all the stock LS2 heads are going to support. It doesn't matter how much timing or air you throw at it. They flow what they flow.

I am from Missouri(the show me state) Where is the dyno chart/graph ?
If its that easy to claim dyno numbers here , well than my dyno for my 06 LS2 was 477hp and 561 TQ with just an Air-raid CAI.

Oh yeah? I have TEA ported heads, cam, Ported FAST 92mm intake, and a Lingerfelter CAI....453whp on the stingy dyno I went to. Kill myself! haha.

But then I took it to another shop abut 1/2 hour away and made 490whp.... best mod I ever made was just going to a different dyno, lol. But realistically the car ran best mph of 122mph at the LSX Shootout in Memphis, so I think the 450 number is probably closest to reality.

Ok. I'm assuming, since I didn't see it mentioned anywhere, that you're also running stock displacement, stock CR, and on 93 octane? The lighter flywheel could add a few hp/tq but it depends on how much lighter the entire set up is. Mr. SpecialSause, do you know how much lighter the flywheel is? Does anyone know if an LS7 clutch assembly with lighter flywheel (Fidanza?) is lighter than a stock '05 LS2 assembly? I mention '05 specifically because it's believed the later C6s went to the LS7 clutch, but we can compare that too.

I don't believe the cutouts are adding much more than a free flowing catback, which is only worth a few at best anyway. GM rated it at 6hp/4tq with the factory NPP on the LS3. Fact of the matter is you don't have an exotic build or even any unique parts. It's a pretty basic bolt-on build. So the difference could be in the tuning. But, there's still only so much power you could squeeze out of it with the stock cam. Even on the ragged edge.

Why so secretive on the timing? What's the name of the shop? Why didn't the tuner give corrected results? Is the dyno sheet available for view? Frankly, I'm not sure why we're even wasting time comparing uncorrected dyno numbers anyway. Corrected dyno comparisons are almost pointless themselves. This could have been a decently informative thread but you're either too stubborn, too immature, or perhaps a little of both, to actually share in the discussion without giving an attitude. I enjoy a heated debate as much as anyone, but there should be some basis in comparable data and information. Why play games? You're not hustling the local street racers here. This is supposed to be an even exchange of data with some humor and entertainment thrown in. Not kids sitting on the computer saying, "Watch. I'm going to get these fat old Corvette owners all worked up. Look how butthurt they are." What's the point in that? No offense but there's no credibility here. Not in the personal sense against you, but in the sense of Put Up Or Shut Up. Prove the car made the numbers, even though you admit they aren't accurate because the results are uncorrected. Get corrected results. Show the ET/MPH backing them up. Otherwise, this is just another thread of pointless chest thumping that does absolutely nothing for the hobby.

I hear ya. I was just being a little sarcastic because the OP had stated a few pages back that if he had a cam car that only made around 430 he would wrap it around a pole. I'm happy with my numbers for my mods.
