You're still caught up in numbers by your post. Numbers don't mean anything. I have seen a 75hp on 4selll(Dan's supercharged Z06) from one dyno to another here in town. I've seen countless cars dyno 50-100hp apart on different dynos over the years.
Take it to the track, get a spreadsheat and record your the DA, 60ft, 330ft, 1/8 ET track times, and how the car back halfs on the track from all your passes, with the addition of mods. You can learn a lot from dialing in a car and seeing how it transistions from the distances and MPH's.
Doesn't matter who you beat. At 272rwhp, 13 years ago, I beat a 430rwhp heads/cam C5 with a 1.75 60 foot and a 13.1 ET @105mph in my 4.6 98 mustang GT. I've spanked a lot of high HP cars with a lot less hp over the years. Same goes for street pulls, because different cars have different gearing, drivers, and traction. My car makes close to 900hp at the crank, and much more with spray, and I can tell you that to understand your acceleration is best on a track with recording your results.

I suggest you read what Mark posted.
Also, if you lose 55hp you'd be at 345rwhp, not 350rwhp.
