Jim, I have found that TSB #07-04-95-001 is the current doc. dated 10-1-2007.
Everything i have found on this lists 160 ft.lb. torque for axle nuts.
If this number is incorrect, i and probably others would like to know.

So would I!

I thought I knew, but now I don't.

Perhaps someone can have their dealer look up the bulletin and print out a copy, or at least verify the torque numbers.

I hope this is true, but since that isn't an official GM site-
They might not have the latest bulletin, a problem I have seen before.

I'm too lazy to go to the dealere right now.

When i go to the dealer about a TSB or a problem they look at me like a deer in headlights!

Default 33mm axle nuts work

Hey guys, I have a 2011 corvette grandsport, 33mm deep socket is what you need for the axle nut.

This, since if car is older, will need 33 to remove the old nut,a nd new replacement nut is going to 34mm instead.
But if you check with an auto parts store around you, should have the free loner tool program for both size sockets, since may never need the sockets for decades again.
