Default Air induction
I am looking to install an induction system on my 05 c6. I know k&n is a well known brand. But is also the most expensive. Are there any other systems that work as good but are cheaper? Thank you in advance.

I went with the Airaid Synthamax CAI. Been on for about 15,000 miles and couldnt be happier. Picked up online for about $250.

Get a system that will really make a difference. I installed the VARARAM on my 06 and it worked excellent!

yes the z06 airbox. it will require a tune, but youll also get the benefit of going to the newer style maf

otherwise the haltech intake if you dont mind aftermarket looks

Vararam and Halltech are awesome systems buuuuut they're $470-$630... If, like you said, you want a system that performs like a K&N that's less expensive, then I stand by my Airaid CAI for <$275 shipped.

Keep your stock one and punch a hole or 3 in the shroud for instant cai.You accomplish the same thing without spending stupid money for no gain.

Nevermind, you can get a Vararam for $275 now too, I'd do that if you purchase one.
