Default Hooking up MSD 2-step question

How do I hook up my MSD 2-step on my C6? Has anybody posted instructions on this?

And thanks to everyone that has helped me out on this site.

I have it hooked up in my car it was pretty easy. Just hook up the connectors between the coil pack wires and then run the activation switch to wire on the clutch switch. I forget which wire it was on the clutch switch though just put a voltage tester on the wires to find which it is.

I went with the Lingenfelter LNC2000. It just plugs-in between the coil harness on each side of the motor. It can be used as a rev limiter, 2-step and/or a timing retard. It's incredibly simple to install.

I have no idea how you would go about interfacing a traditional MSD 2-step into the OEM ignition system.

Be careful with those 2 steps...I can direct you to two other guys on this forum who have them...

And blown rear ends to go along with them.

Be careful how high you set the rpm and how fast you let the clutch out.

Not that anyone asked my opinion!

Default 2-step

Not sure what year car you have but keep in mind that the newer cars don't use a clutch switch anymore but a clutch position sensor (can't remember the year they switched, maybe 2008 on the Corvettes).

The Lingenfelter 2-step doesn't wire in exactly like the MSD one does but you might be able to use some of the wiring diagrams in our instructions to help give you ideas on how to do it with the MSD unit.
