I don't have a bit of drone with the Corsa Sports. I did install the hi flow cats so that may be the reason. The car isn't much louder at normal cruising speeds, but it does howl like a race car when you stand on it.

would the superpro make any difference in sound?

I don't have any drone with my Corsa Sports after installing American Racing Headers; just louder and satisfying when accelerating. Lots more popping on decel though.

Heat tape. You see it a lot on dragsters. It keeps the heat in the headers which increases flow and keeps things next to the headers from burning.

On a daily driven car it doesn't hold up to rain. I've never seen anyone do it on a street car. Sometimes people will wrap the area around the starter if it's in an area that doesn't get wet.

The sound from headers is from the thin walls. Make sure there are no leaks...the slip connectors often leak. If there is no leaks it's just what it is. You could use dynamat to quiet the interior but that is a lot of work.

FYI the fast intake is a lot louder than headers. My headers don't bother me but my fast does on trips. It's loud!

Does nothing for sound or performance. Does look nice. But get a quality powder coater as I've seen it flake after a few years on my friends car.

Probably, but the folks at LG told me that the "street series" long tubes were more than adequate for an engine without a large cam or head change.

I've had LG Pro LT Headers for over 5 years without one issue (knock on wood!). Stainless Steel does not rust, but the other great thing is it has a third of the thermal conductivity of cast iron. You do NOT need ceramic coating, just plain stainless headers will be a lot cooler than your stock cast iron manifolds. And yes, I've gone on plenty of long trips to California, Colorado, and all around Arizona.

That sounds good! I've never heard that before. I'm sure that the ceramic coat people don't want that info to be widely known.

There is one reason to go with ceramic coat, it's very pretty! Other than that, it's not necessary for 300 series stainless headers. Now get carbon steel headers or even 400 series stainless headers and you need the ceramic coat to keep them from rusting.

I daily drove my 2006 Corvette with our headers on it. Put almost 60k miles on it, even did round trips to my parents house in Indiana with it (986 mile one way) with zero problems. Stock plug wires...no coating never burnt anything on the car.

I run the LG Super Pros on my Z and have taken numerous road trips to Vegas with Zero issues.
