My 2011 didn't but the 2012's have two extra resonators, doesn't seem to effect stock power.
They're reportedly catalytic converters, not resonators. I can report for sure when I swap it with an '11 I already have in my garage, but certainly look like cats to me. Even if they don't rob much power, the extra heat and weight will not be missed .
2008 MN6 382HP 361TQ on a dynojet with 99F ambient. Coolant temp did not pull timeing. Inlet air temp very well most likely did pull some timing. Happy either way.
Interesting info on dyno numbers but as everyone has said they don't mean a thing. My 2009 Z51 MN6 with the exhaust on open with the mild to wild was 393.4 today before tune and 399.8 after. The stock tune must have been pretty good, for a good bit of the power band, under 4k, there was almost no improvement, above that it was 5-15 more all the way up.
But these seem high compared to what everyone else is saying...
2008 C6 with the Grand Sport Conversion 373.07 RWHP 364.26 RWTQ no NPP exhaust all stock down to filter.
While we had the car on the dyno we installed the Halltech Super Bee 103 and made another back to back pull. We were rewarded with 383.33 RWHP 374.27 RWTQ a honest gain of 10 and 10 with the Halltech.
By looking at all the various numbers posted, it would appear that the average for a bone stock 436 HP LS3 is very close to these numbers if your using a DynoJet with SAE corrected numbers:
(Mustang dyno numbers obviously will be lower than what's listed below)

When you replace the stock filter with one that allows more air (and dirt) through, plus move the MAF forward, it automatically leans the A/F, which produces more power from the pig rich factory setting. Just a tune alone accounts for at least 10 HP.
mine was 372 2008 L-3 some dyno's are looser for sure!
I beat you, I went to a dyno day and I first car up and I did 365 RWHP. 2008 A6 Base car
Heck maybe he lowered the Dyno that day so he could get sales of people wanting to increase power, Oh well. I have been a 12.63 @ 113 though. But my 60's are about 2.0.
ohoh,,,,the numbers game again...its all good....nothing wrong with it....if i were to say anything it would be to just remember what twists the tires...it aint RWHP...just saying...
have a 2013 a6 grand sport that put down 372whp stock and 408whp /402 tq after headers and a tune. Granted it was Phoenix, 113 degrees out with 60% humidity. This was on a dynojet.
