I guess it is true as I just had my trans rebuilt and found out it was low on trans fluid from the factory too.

Well to breath properly during a certain event you have to SUCK to get air in and BLOW to release the air and all without stopping what youre doing.

Doug, still waiting to hear from you for the eng tune only for my car. Dont want to put the trans tune back on this time, just the eng tune.

Right after I had my converter installed I went to Lebanon Vally that weekend, & on the 1st (and only) run that day, I spun to 1.80 60' time but it also seemed to short shift, & it DID lock when when it shifted to 3rd gear (RPM dropped to app 4000) and I only ran 12.55 @ 111 mph...

Took it back to Cartek, & it was "reset" set (NOT to lock) under full throttle.. It usually runs about 190 deg... & I went to RP the next Sat.. made 3 runs all were 1.6x 60' time, and it ran 11.75 - 11.77 @ 116 mph no heat problims...

BTW it not a A6 its an (A4)

So here's a more meaningful update..... The converter took a dump. ECS replaced it with another one and I have driven about 1,000 miles since the replacement. So far, so good. I drove about 300 miles on Tuesday to Delaware and back and the trans seemed fine. Temps were between 160 and 180 depending on my driving I hope that I won't have any more issues with this trans.

I have to say that ECS stood behind its product/job and made things right. Thank you.

Doug why havent you responded to my PM's and messages on here? It seems like after I said my tranny went out you didnt want to talk to me. And it was fixed under warranty anyway. All I wanted was the eng tune and not the trans tune resent to me so I could load it up but after several PM's and even more messages on here you never got back with me. I even left a meassage with someone where you work. No worries tho as I already have the issue fixed by other means. Thanks.
