Strange Sound
I recently purchased an 08 Z06, that when I get in iand before I hit the start button, I hear a crackling sound coming form inside the middle of the dashboard. It almost sounds like static electricity. It goes away after the car starts.

It's relays. Normal. The car picked up the fob and is preparing for ignition on.
