For one that cable appears to be an interface cable only to be used with the GM MDI module which communicates with cars within the global diagnostics which the corvette is not part of. The tool of choice is the tech2 but buying from the company which sells chinese knock offs which often does not work. A real genuine GM Tech2 costs over $4k which is the equal to the ones that they are selling as a kit with all the cables, adapters and software. You ever hear the say "if its too good to be true, it likely is" ???I have talked to several Vetronix reps that actually make and sell the real tech2, they have told me of horror stories from people that have purchased these fake tech2s and trying to get Vetronix to fix them so that they would work.
