SLOWHAWK!! Great Work!!
Wanted to say thanks to Don over at Slowhawk. Installed a set of AR 1 7/8 headers w/ cats, Airaid intake, and a tune. I have it hooked up to the NPP with a mild to wild. Sounds Great! With exhaust open it sounds like it should, nice and mean. The idle is great. Almost sounds like it has an extremely mild cam, tach is steady as rock. Exhaust closed, it is silent on the highway. No drone at all. I leave it open all the time, but for guys worried about drone its perfect. Could not be more pleased. As far as the tune, we kept the A6 pretty mellow in Drive mode, but put it in Sport and you better hold on. Shifts are nice and tight.
Anyone thinking about going to see him, do it. Even got a follow up email to see how the car was doing. Drove up from CT 2 1/2 hrs each way. Was well worth it. Thanks again Don!!
