Yes sir they are! Even better they are are Tri-Y design that takes advantage of exhaust scavenging to produce greater mid-range (usable) torque without sacrificing any top end peak HP. Post up with any more questions you have!
It's very cool to see photos of your car on the forum.
The car has noticably more power. Dynoed 488 hp. So about a 55/60 hp. gain. Sounds much better also. Hopefully this will translate to lower lap times this summer. More likely more runoffs.lol
It's a shame this system is hidden under the car. It is truly the best looking exhust hardware on the planet. In addition, the small Pfadt logo between the midpipes had to at least add five horsepower.
Considering this was IPSs' first Pfadt header installation it went very well. The kit came without O2 harness extensions. The midpipe at the aft end came necked down. So the IPS guys cut about 8/10 inches off, and fabricated two three inch pipes. When they were done it was difficult to tell the pipes had been altered.
The other problem was the cats are in the midpipe much further back under the car. This meant the harnesses for the O2 sensors needed to be much longer. In fact the rear sensors required two extensions each. Once this was sorted out the issue became how to secure them such that midpipe heat wouldn't burn them up. After perusing the problem they drilled an inch hole in the Elite Engineering insulated tunnel plate and routed the the harnesses up into the plate.
IPS has installed all the performance parts on my car over a period of about six years. Brandon and crew are easy to do business with, professional, honest and last but not least do high quality work. IPS always gets my vote. Brandon's only shortcoming is he is a Buckeye. lol
BTY, Brandon has a slightly used Arka X pipe for sale.

The tuner didn't do a base line run. The reason, he has done many many Zo6s and said without exception they baseline at about 430 hp. Had I ask he would have done it. I didn't in an attempt to keep my bill such that I had gas money to get home.
I do have a run sheet, however, it's in OH and I'm currently in south west FL.
Of the mods have done on my car this is the one am most happy with.
JW, Notice those clear side markers with the led lites. They should look familiar as they came from your shop. Almost everyone who sees them has an, "I like comment."
any videos of stock/ no cam Z06 with pfadt headers?
Have seen lots of photos but no video. As much intrest as these pipes have elicited over the past couple of months someone is bound to have taken something. Perhaps Pfadt can help.

Hey Larry! Thanks for the post! Glad you are on your way to lowering laptimes with an extra 55hp!
Just a couple of notes, the part number that was ordered was actually a "Header and Mid-Pipe only" kit, that does not include the correct length O2 harnesses, AND the clips that conveniently hold the harness out of the way of getting melted. A lot of dealers like to use their own setups for this and we don't require you to use our kit, but it is a super-easy install with our bolt-in parts.
Also, we have a full 3" mid pipe for the Z06 exhaust system. Sounds like IPS ordered a base-model system where it necks down to meet the stock 2.5" over-axle. But it sounds like the boys at IPS got it taken care of either way!
Thanks again Larry, please post up the dyno chart so we can drool!!!

Ah, it appears Murphys Law is alive and well. When I ordered the kit I did not talk to the individual whom I normaly talk to and who knows I have a ZO6. A classic example of, "failure to communicate."
