new mcleod toast?? please help

Just installed a new McLeod street twin in the vette. I took three weeks waiting on parts and take my time to make everything right. I bled the clutch and start the car I saw some smoke so look under the car and fluid is pouring out of the bellhousing and the brand new tickmaster. Is my brand new clutch salvageable Or did iI just throw 1200 out the door. Can I just pull the slave it tighten whichever came loose and spray some brake cleaner through the bellhousing or do I have to take the entire clutch assembly out again. I really don't want to pull the intake, throttle body, supercharger plumbing, headers, spark plugs. and wrestle that bellhousing again.

That sucks...Guess it depends on how much fluid got on it..

Could I spray brake cleaner on it and let it dry for a day

Drop the rear cradle/torque tube and keep the engine bay stuff intact.

I would contact McCleod and see if spraying/soaking the disc in something like acetone would be okay.

Rog that's what ill do. Thanks. Has anyone else had this happen to them .if so how did the clutch react?

when my slave cylinder let go, the clutch was soaked with fliud and the shop cleaned it real well with brake cleaner - clutch worked great afterwords. (this was on my former C5)
