Don't get me wrong, i love my grand Sport, that is a car i will keep for a long time...i'm going to try what the other gentlemen said to try a different brand of tires, heck my OEM goodyear F1 supercar EMt are almost shot.
When it comes to tires, there seems to be a good many negative comments for gy supercars. I was on the track last year with a relatively fresh set of tires and found they perform quite well. Their limitations seems to be cold temps. The supercars are a summer tire so they need to be warm for best performance. Since we don't have spare tires, rf technology is all i will ever run on mine until I find I need the extra traction R compound tires provide, but that would be at a racetrack. With powerful brakes and road handling ability, I don't use 50 percent of the capability of the gs on public roads with rf tires, so if you don't do hpde events, high mileage tires would make sense. Hpde is great fun though highly addictive.
What tires would you gentlemen recommend?
I don't know whether to go with a set of Michelin Super Sport none runflats.
Or the Bridgestone RE050E Pole Positions Runflats.
Florida has some really nice paved roads, no pot holes here...only left lane blockers.
Kinda a "low-brow" experience. I've had to explain to several people I've given a ride to. It's less noticeable the warmer the temp is. Looking forward to warmer weather soon, although I'm experiencing the dreaded "tunnel heat" already.

Do you want the car to go around turns at high speed or not hop when in a parking lot, pick one.
The hopping annoys me too, but then I go for a run up my local canyon, where I never cease to be amazed at how my GS tears it up without even approaching the limits of the car.
I read on the Traverse forums that they don't hop.

If you are trying to reduce the scrubbing the Michelins may not do it for you. Last year I won a new set of Michelin PS2 Runflats for the Vette. I adjusted the alignment for a street setting and had the Michelins installed. Even on moderate turns the car really hops. Not sure if it is the tread difference between the Michelins and the EMTs or the alignment change. Prior to the alignment change I had -1.5 front camber and with the Michelins dropped it to -.4.
