I think my battery my be dying a slow death. I have replaced the battery in both fobs. Many times especially the first thing the morning I have trouble getting into the car. Sometime even after I have manage to get the fob out of my pocket and place it right next the door. It will open. Then when I get inside sometimes it will still give me a no fob message. I can normally can hold the fob next to the dash it will start.
well, you can check voltage on car battery..
press and hold down on accessory for 5+ seconds until the DIC lights up, first it will say 'accessory mode' but then a lil later DIC will come on.
then press options button until you get to the voltage, it will read..
11.1 battery is low but ok
12.1 battery is really charged at max
11.6-11.8 is normal because lights and other stuff are on
(10.9 or lower your getting at or near too low)
it might be as simple as phone/charger/other device causing interference
fob in glove slot should work everytime.
could you mod your post and add year of your car please, thanks... also how long ago did youreplace fob batteries? did you put in ones that have a smoothside or ones with a rough side? might put those into your original post
