2006 basic coop automatic windows
I have a 2006 basic model C6 coop with electric door releases and when I open the car door the window automatically drops to clear the top channel but does not automatically lift back up to reset in the channel after closing the door. Is there an individual part that controls this or is it going to be a complete motor assembly replacement?

With the engine running and the window down, close the car door. Raise the window and hold the up switch an extra 3 seconds. Release. Without lowering the window, hold the up switch again for 3 seconds. Release. Done. Don't forget the other window. (This is in the owner's manual.)

Think nothing of it. That problem gets posted here about 2 or 3 times a month EVERY month. It's hard to find in the manual. I've had those instructions in a WORD file that I cut and paste here frequently for several years.
