Carbotech brakes utilize a ceramic and metallic construction in a range of compounds that out-perform competitive brakes. Carbotech brakes are made from compounds that offer higher initial bite, torque and fade resistance—providing consistent brake modulation and performance over a wide range of operating temperatures.

In addition, Carbotech brakes are rotor friendly, saving money and keeping your vehicle out of the service shop far longer than the competition.

Carbotech brakes give you:
• Assured stopping power
• Increased overall performance and handling
•Excellent modulation and release characteristics
•Better control entering the corners
•Longer brake pad and rotor life—up to four times longer than the competition!
•Longer rotor life
•Non-corrosive dust

I will help you determine the perfect brake pad compound for your car and your style of driving. Carbotech brakes are designed to allow you to “Go Deep!” while being particularly rotor friendly and contain 100% non-corrosive brake dust.

What pads would you recommend for someone that does 5 - 7 hpde's per season, 2012 GS A-6? I'm currently running in the advanced-intermediate group (B). Current braking is about 70mph differentials: 140 - 80 or 100 - 30. Currently on stock rotors but will upgrade when they wear out (drilled rotors are useless when the holes fill with pad material) and running street tires. No plans yet to go to R-compounds.

I would use the XP10 front and XP8 rear in the 1 piece design. This will give you great performance on track and still can be used on the street. If you find that they are to noisy for street use you can always get a set of our 1521 street pad and because all our compounds are compatible with each other there is no need to re bed or anything else just swap pads and go. If your interested please contact me at 216-780-8825.

XP10 $336
XP8 $279

I have Carbotech tech XP12 front and XP10 rear. Car is both street and track they are great on the track and will squeak when cold on street, all the noise is worth the performance you get on the track. They are expense however compared to other brands 500.00 for the set.
