I have a LS7 clutch kit, pretty sure the slave cylinder needs to be shimmed. She won't disengage and Trent needs to fine tune the engine he built for it.

My first C6 was a Z06 I got from a friend who had the same problem with supercharging (Vortech). It cracked #7 shortly after installation with only 6 lbs of boost. As they say, #7's the weak link. I was there and the problem was obvious...made BIG noises. Ended up resleeving all 8, dropped the compression to 9.5, plus bunch of other mods and ran conservative 11 lbs boost. Made 760 rwhp at 5,800 rpm, more hp than this old fart needed.

The new block came in today, parts are all ordered for the forged lower end.
I got my new pulley today too!

She's back!

Got the car back today with the forged lower end.
I have to comment on the service and professionalism of Trent from Colorado Performance Unlimited.
They do top notch work, no shortcuts and at more than Fair prices. Thanks Trent!
I still need to break it in so trying to stay out of boost until the final tune.
