Ls2 vs ls3
As for the LS2 versus LS3 debate, honestly, I expected more out of the modified LS3s.
Stock versus stock there is no doubt that the LS3s have at least a full 2/10th and 2mph advantage. But once the bolt ons and internal mods enter into it that gap appears to narrow quickly for some reason.

I love BOTH engines and one cannot go wrong with either choice.

This is not to claim that the LS3 is any better, quicker or faster than an LS2 but is only to clarify the purpose of this particular build.
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
Nobody is hating Dennis... That's all in your head. Your giving yourself way to much credit just suggesting so. I'm simply discussing the subject, your the one adding the drama.
I personally just disagree that there woul be any difference between the LS2 & LS3 when it comes down to modding...
Your point that the exclusive "Corvette Forum" fast list is a 100% accurate account of all corvettes who have ever graced the quarter mile is a bit ignorant to say the least.
Sure, you could say its the top list for the "Corvette forum" but to suggest that list covers / represents any more than than outside of the forum is simply not true and makes your conclusion unfounded. There are thousands of corvettes on the road today... Your list samples less that 1% of them... Come on man... Just think about it.
As for my best time in my GS, since you asked, I have yet to take mine to a quarter mile track... Not that I have not wanted to but mainly due to the distance to get to one. I have however spent a good amount of time on the road course at the Homestead Miami Speedway... If you haven't taken your Corvette around a road course yet, you don't know what your missing!
Also, currently my car is still bone stock, I'm in the process of deciding what direction I want to take the car in... Every car I have ever owned has been quarter mile purpose built... I'm leaning towards setting up for the road course more than raw straight line performance though... I do appreciate both types of racing though.
Either way, nobody hating from where I stand...

You guys are to serious, But I will tell you this. I do have the fastest 05 LMB C6 on my street. I don't care what you say
I thought you had the AIR RAM
AIR RAM Is the name of my business... (AIR RAM PERFORMANCE) ... I'm just hanging out getting a feel for the community so to speak. I'm un likely to be chasing the "quickest" title... I have recenty been bitten by the road course bug... But I admire those of you who are "quarter mile" runners... Like I said, I have lived that life for over 20 years... Most in classic Pony cars than Modern sports cars though. Either way... I just love SPEED... I don't care what it's in... If your fast, you have my attention.
Dennis, I think the impersonal way forums tend to make us appear don't accurately represent what we are tying to say all the time... I got nothing against you, we both like and enjoy the same thing... Fast cars and more specifically fast Vetts... We just failed to agree on a single point... It doesn't make you bad... And I don't think it makes me bad...

Let me know if there is anything your needing performance wise... In most cases I can get them to your door for less...

Thanks Gary, I couldn't remember the exact times and I forgot Rob went 10.2 on a 1.5 actually with the bolt on LS6.
