Valve stem seal spring??
can anyone tell me what the significance/purpose of the little spring that goes around the rubber valve stem seal? I could guess but it seems that it could cause more harm than good.. doesn't seem like it puts much tension on the rubber itself? anyone? would it be wise to run with out them?

I'm not sure what spring you are referring to, can you post a pic or drawing?

if you look on the blue rubber piece you can see a tiny spring that goes around it... just wondering about that little sucker.

BEZ06 is the real expert on the TPMS and all its components, but I don't think the items in your link will fit on a C6.

Got it, thanks.
Unfortunately, I have no clue about the usefulness of the spring.
Good luck with an answer, maybe post in C6 General if you don't get the answer here.

Spring is what makes it a "Mechanical seal".
Without it, you will not have a seal.
C6 General has even less technical knowledge. LS1Tech forum has the real gearheads.
