Default Cammed ls2 head question/options

Hey guys thinking of going with a heads and cam car, maybe put a bottle on it for those rare occasions. So what is my best head option? Would porting ls2 heads with a company like AI or would an aftermarket setup be better? I'm not looking to win any dyno contests or take any awards just want as close to 475-500 whp as I can while still being reliable I'm at a little over 450 with cam fast exhaust and intake. I know the ls3 top end is an option but how much if any would it yield over a good cnc job from ai? After getting an ls3 top end with new valves springs and retainers and selling my fast for an ls3 I think my price comparison work sheet puts them all close to the same playing field.

I agree their are a lot of threads on this topic couldn't find one that completely fit my question figured in the tech/performance section would be fitting and see repeat threads a lot. But if you would care to link what exact threads to help others out when searching seems like it would help. I've searched couldn't find my answer so pressed that button and made a thread. And I'm not a huge fan of oh this 1 guy is the fastest everyone just use that. It is an option for sure but I like working cost vs gain and what's easily available. Thanks Jim! Oh and I don't have an auto

then with a manual you would see more rwhp, I searched for the answer myself do the 243s LS3 or trick flows, since no fast times were out as of yet I passed on the LS3 conversion i already had a fast 90, the trickflows were a lot of money, but i could sell my heads, but the water passages are smaller on the tfs so the engine runs hotter, the cartek heads use the same valves just a serdi valve job ported and milled still pump gas, car runs cool in traffic, straight out of the box the i would take worked 243 but if the tfs were ported serdi valve job then i would go for them if money was no object
