Default Nitrous, is it a DIY?

I know it would have to be tuned by a pro, but has anyone installed a kit?
how difficult?
TIA,Rob

Hi Rob it took me 16 hrs to install mine, that included moving battery to back for the fuel cell for C16 in battery tray.

Years ago N2O was a DIY. I bought an NOS #5115 kit designed for V8 Mustangs and adapted it to a '94 Suzuki Swift GT (1100cc 4cyl). Worked like a champ with the right N2O and Fuel jets. Transfered the kit to my '98 Ranger PU then sold the kit to a guy with a V8 Mustang in 2000 when I bought my Firebird Formula. Pretty crude kits, injected N2O and fuel into the throttle body behind the MAF, no tuning, no timing pull. Supposed to be a 100HP shot for the Mustang.

The only thing that isn't diy is engine machining. Oh and paint... I hate painting.

Cool thing with n20 is you can go fairly simply or get really fancy. I usually fall somewhere in between. Prefer at least a window and tps switch.

Up to 100 dry shot you should be easily DIY. Beyond that is it still DIY but at a more difficult level because you are going to want to go Wet Shot.
Check out the C6 Forced Induction/Nitrous section for a lot more advice.

I wanna go with a dry 100 for my c6, would I have to tap and wire into the factory harness at all? I hate cutting up factory wiring.
