Default transmission question

Hi, I just recently purchased a 2013 G.S,
Answer please.build sheet states trans as MZ6 is this the same as TR6060? Further, on my build sheet its stated as z16/z52,then else where its z51sport pkg and under suspension, FE3. Can you clarify please what these monikers stand for? Thanks

TR6060 is the generic name of a Tremec 6-speed transmission. It's the successor of the T56.
Then, depending on application, you have the RPO codes MM6 (base and Z06), MZ6 (GS), and MH3 (ZR1), each with specific gear ratios and torque/hp ratings.
You also have TR6060s for non Corvette cars, e.g. Camaro, but also Chrysler, Ford, etc.
So an MZ6 is a TR6060 (for that model year), but a TR6060 is not necessarily an MZ6.
At least, that's how I understand it.

And, to elaborate a bit on Rick's post: the MZ6 trans is teh Z51 trans (slightly different internal gears) from the MN6 for base cars. As mentioned by Rick, there were components of the former years' stand alone Z51 option that were incorporated into the GS model. To my understanding, that's why there is a reference to Z51 in the build sheet (some items are carryover parts from a Z51-equipped car).
