So, you're saying even WITH the newest GM fluid it still needed the extra additive? That's amazing.

I am saying with the new fluid you dont get the clutches sticking thats what makes the noise, so the new fluid makes them slip so much they dont work as a real limited slip

So now I'm not sure if this is a good thing to use or not?

I went to the local auto store and got royal purple with the additive in it, and added another bottle of additive, I added the extra bottle because I drag race and don't need 1 wheel burnouts making the clutch pack slip, and its working fine

Eric, If you do decide to change the differential lubricant, I would use only the GM Dexron LS (Limited Slip) 75w-90. NO ADDITIVE REQUIRED. Do not use any additive with the GM Dexron LS 75w-90.

Will do, and thanks for your other suggestion. I will be testing that. I hope its that simple.
