L99 to LS3 conversion
Anyone have any experience (good or bad) with converting an L99 engine to an LS3?
I am really looking for a factory LS3 with an A6 bolted on the back at the factory with the factory tune. Very few of those around.
Since I would likely change the cam in the LS3 anyway, been thinking about an L99.
How about the heads - they are probably different???

Lifter and valley plate swap along with the cam/cam gear. Super simple. If you can do a cam swap you can do the conversion.

As unreal said, very simple. Gather the parts on your own or hit up one of the reputable vendors and they can supply it all as a kit.

Along with a standard LS3 front cover. I also use the LS2 timing chain damper.
