Never seen that before. You are putting the shifter in "S" correct?

Any modifications to the interior, steering wheel, shifter?

Looking at the wiring diagram, it seems to use the Cruise Control fuse (2A) as an input to the steering wheel air bag (pink wire) and purple that go to the the left paddle, which then connects to the right paddle.

I can send you the wiring diagram if you PM me your e-mail address.
It will include all the wiring diagrams for a manual and Auto C6.

Hope this helps.

Update - Resolved.

Incase anyone else finds this and is looking for the answer this is what I did.

The pins that make contact with the fuse in the BCM had been spread and were not holding the fuse in securely.

1. Remove BCM from car
2. Remove all fuses and relays from BCM
3. Using a thin bladed screw driver bend the flare (back side) on the silver securing bolts back to vertical. I installed a screw in from the other side as pressed down on the BCM to give the screwdriver room to get under the flared lip.
4. Pull the securing bolts through
5. Unclip the lid from the BCM, you might need to use a plastic panel tool to help pull the units apart.
6. Remove circuit board.
7. Using needle nose pliers, gently squeeze the two prong fuse connectors back together.
8. Reassemble BCM
9. I then used a ball bearing I had laying around that was the perfect size to re-flare the securing bolts. You could also use the yoke from a brake flare kit as well. With a bolt inserted into the opposite side and the the bolt head in my bench vise, i lightly tapped the ball bearing unit the flare had returned back to its normal side.
10. Re-install BCM
11. Enjoy not having to buy a new BCM and have it programmed at the dealer!

Im chasing this same issue- however on my 2009 the circuit seems to be a bit different. I also pulled the BCM and checked for connection tightness and all was well.

Beginning to think its the clock spring at this point? I'm not getting power to the pink wire at the left paddle shifter when the car is in accessory mode.

Honestly they aren't worth fixing/using, the delay is excruciating.
