Considering a Corsa Sport Cat-Back exhaust teamed with a good CAI and an HPTuners software upgrade. One day I'm ready to pull the trigger and the next not so much. A little "spirited" driving on occasion and of course some competition when it's presented on the street. Is the enhanced performance worth $3K+ price tag?

for me not just no but Hell NO. I installed a ZR1 3" exhaust system a little more than $200 after all is said and done then I built my own CAI a real on and now I need one of those $200 tunes from Frost. So for less that $500 I probably picked up 35 HP, for me that's good.

I'd invest in a set of headers over the cat-back system. Sure the mufflers will sound incredible, but you'd probably pick up another 40-60 hp with a set of headers. Also headers will make the car scream even with stock mufflers so there's that.

Thanks for the feedback. 3" Z06 or ZR1 systems are bigger than the Corsa! I'll look into that. I'd considered the long-tube headers, but the catalytic converter necessary to go with them made it cost prohibitive.

Friend's don't let friends spend that kind of money on some pipes and a couple of mufflers. LOL

As others have said, put a set of longtubes on the car. You will achieve far greater results for less money involved.
