LS7 Guide Fail... video inside + mod results
So I took my car in after hearing all the horror stories... Glad I did! Car had 20k miles, 2008 Z06. Here is a result after my heads where taken off, only the visual test was done, but looking at the guides, they had an elliptical shape to them, and a lot of wiggle.
The machine shop said I dodged a bullet basically... Does this look in line with what everyone else wiggle test turn out looking like?
While it was under the knife, I had the following done:
SuperBee Intake (was installed before the initial Dyno run otherwise car was stock)
LG Super Pro 1 3/4 headers with cats
Ferrea Bronze guides w/ Ferrea Hollow Stem Exhaust valves
PSI springs
.030 Milling on the heads
160T stat.
The car dynoed stock with SuperBee Intake 460hp/406tq and 452/416 on the second base run
After the above mod and tune the final number was 525hp/480tq SAE corrected. Was about 90 degrees outside but car def feels completely different now!
What is everyone's thought on the final dyno numbers with the above mods?

Good catch! Glad to see you being "PRO-ACTIVE" saved you a big headache! Its too bad the LS7 Guys need to be concerned about such issues. Although it doesnt apply to everyone, there are enough valve-train issues to raise justified concern.
