Default Need some input guys.

Just a quick question guys, when the car is cold(IE) when first starting up the car when it is not up to operating temp less then 150 degrees. The car feels a lot stronger. Once it gets to 190+ degree it seems like its not as powerful. any thoughts. The car has H/C/I/E long tube headers puts down over 503+ rwhp and 460+ rwtq. I also have NGK TR6. It runs fine idles fine and pulls hard but you can tell a difference from when its cold to operating temp. I did just put a dewitts radiator in not that I should make any difference. Btw is a 2005

What thermostat? If not a 160, that would be the first thing to try.

The computer enriches the fuel mixture until the engine is up to operating temp allowing it to make more hp.

Timing is pulled when intake air is over 74* and also when engine coolant goes over 194* so many times when your car is warm it is pulling timing and losing power

What you maybe encountering is your ecm using the open loop tables vs closed loop tables. I am just guessing, maybe a tuner could help you.

I am too slow, sorry.

yea I have it dyno tuned with hp tuners. The tuner that tuned it is pretty well known Ed hutchings from Hi-tech tuning. I will get with him ask.
