What a terrific thread. Has potential to be a classic.

Make a vette faster in 6th gear races on the cheap by relabeling 5th gear. 5th is the new 6th.

I had an N54 335i. So sick of hearing about how fast those cars are. I had meth, all the bolt ons, JB4, stock turbos...could only get 12s @ 114 out of it. And that whole crowd uses STD dyno numbers that hype up the numbers by 10-15 over the SAE numbers everyone else uses. 430 rwhp in a 3600 lb car is decent but about the same power to weight as a stock LS3 base vette.

My buddy has one with a tune on it. Its quick but its...meh.

My 2008 C6 weighs 3220 lbs. Almost 400 lbs lighter, not insignificant.

If you can't figure out how to work an M6, trade for an A6. It's pretty good at keeping you in the motor's happy spot
