I have a deal on a fast 90 intake and I think I remember a forum saying there may be trimming involved to fit? I can't find that thread again but does anything need to be done to fit that intake? I have a stock throttle body if that plays a factor
If you look at a new FAST the back is lower than the front. Early ones required cutting the cowl up. I did a forum search but I could not find it. Below is an article I find using google.
Here's the thread. You can cut the FAST and put in a patch instead of cutting the car if you like. But don't use plastic, it will melt and you will have a huge vacuum leak. My buddy fashioned a sheetmetal patch for me and glued it in with epoxy 5 years ago and it's been fine ever since.
